Nick Moramarco, Project Manager 

Nick Moramarco has over 30 years of diversified experience in engineering, science and design. Mr. Moramarco served as an Air Pollution Control Engineer for the New York State Health Department, monitoring, documenting and enforcing regulations against sources of air pollution. As an environmentalist for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, NY District, Mr. Moramarco was responsible for analyzing the socio-economic and environmental impacts of the Corps’ projects on the surrounding areas. He later became a project manager for a sanitary engineering firm responsible for oversight of the construction of water and sewer treatment plants. His engineering degree coupled with his environmental orientation led him to work for a scientific instrument company, designing instruments which measure electrophoretic mobility, used to determine the effectiveness of water and sewage treatment plant operations. 

For more than ten years, Mr. Moramarco has managed computer networks for major publishing and advertising agencies in the New York metropolitan area, working with such publications as Book of the Month Club, Time, Inc., Consumer Marketing Division, Revlon and Carlson & Partners.

Mr. Moramarco has a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Detroit. He studied Environmental Health Sciences at Hunter College and graphic design at the New School. He is a member of Chi Epsilon, the Civil Engineering Honor Society.

Mr. Moramarco is involved in Historic Preservation efforts in his hometown of Maplewood, New Jersey, and is responsible for organizing an ad hoc non-profit organization to preserve the architectural heritage of the housing stock in the Township.
